Rationale & Mandate
The Inter-Agency Committee on Transnational Crime (IACT) serves as a coordinating body to strengthen cooperation among government agencies and partner organizations. Its mandate is to combat transnational crime through integrated strategies, policy development, and operational coordination.


Objectives & Functions
IACT aims to enhance inter-agency collaboration to effectively prevent and respond to transnational crimes. Its functions include policy formulation, information sharing, capacity building, and monitoring the implementation of crime prevention programs.
Organizational Structure & TWG Members
The committee is composed of representatives from various government agencies and technical working groups (TWGs) specializing in crime prevention, law enforcement, and legal affairs. This structure ensures comprehensive coverage and expertise in addressing complex crime issues.
